Night Sky

Sunset.

Looking up into the black sky, I find the Little Dipper and follow his pouring to see the Big Dipper, pale in the orb of sky glow from the city. Hands shoved in the pockets of my red wool coat on this cold night, I leave my head back, watching stars, feeling small, and reveling in the greatness of being so small.  David's, "what is man that you are mindful of him" floats through my lips, cold winter feeling breezes catching them and carrying them up.
I think we should all silently stand and stare at the night sky more often.

It puts things into perspective doesn't it.

I have loved looking up at the sky since I was a little girl. I love being reminded how small I am in comparison to our great God.
