The makings of a Weekly Menu and shopping list:



Monday am - corncakes with honey, fresh pineapple
Make pie crusts
lunch - yogurt with granola and jam
dinner - beef potpie, salad, chocolate pudding
Soak beans, take out ground beef

Tuesday am - cereal
lunch - ricotta pasta with olive oil and herbs
dinner - taco soup, salad
soak groats

Wednesday am - oat groats
Make apple pie
lunch - banana bread, salad
dinner - Greek pasta salad

Thursday am - fruit ambrosia
lunch - Thanksgiving Day!

Friday am - cereal, corn muffins
lunch - pepperoni/cheese pizza rolls
dinner - potatoes with tahini (do we have tahini?) or garlic potatoes and pork chops

Saturday am - pancakes

Sunday am - Sunday morning coffee cake, iced chai
lunch - Spicy cashew chicken and rice, home canned wax beans


Shopping:
Twin Orchards
apples

Aldi's
carrots
cream
tomatoes w/ chilis
frozen corn
fresh pineapple
cucumber
pecans
cashews
bacon
green pepper
lemons
grapes, blueberries, strawberries or whatever fresh fruit is good
canned oranges and pineapple

Hannaford
turkey pepperoni
gf pasta
fresh dill
tomatoes
cornstarch
chicken?  Check freezer first

our neighborhood grocery store sends out a flyer the day before the sale begins for a week. Based on whats a good buy, I decide what we are going to have for dinner for the week, and just shop with the flyer. Oh, and for those of you who forget to bring the flyer, they have tons on hand at the store.
