Polka-dotted pox are just about all healed. Somehow my baby girl is becoming a big toddler girl and , oh, I'm so-not-ready for this yet. "Stay small, my little one", I whisper, knowing full well she won't and things are as they should be. Meanwhile I snap photos of small toes and cover them with kisses and enjoy just watching her - all of the kids really, I can just sit, heart full, and be amazed at the wonder of them - because they just grow SO quick.

This is such a lovely tribute to mothering, and the fleeting nature of childhood- so I don't mean to be shallow- but I LOVE that chair! I've been searching thrift stores for one like it. Fingers crossed!
They do grow so fast!
My 2nd daughter is 18 today....18!
Sweet photos....
Nice article. I was checking constantly this blog and I’m quite impressed! Very useful information.
That chaise is fantastic. The big girl is pretty rad too :)
I am here too Hannah! My littlest of three is almost 1 and my heart aches and is full at the same time. What a blessing these little ones bring!
I've been away from your blog for too long! These pictures are precious! That chair is awesome, yes... but those toes, those toes! I, too, have been finding myself whispering to my baby, "don't grow so fast"... but they do have a way of making our hearts feel so full, don't they?
Oh, those toes are beautiful!
