What I Wore

Today is co-op pick up day with our local UNFI group. Also a library day and tidy up the house day since we spent yesterday in Syracuse at the science museum. I feel so sluggish this week, feet dragging, heart dragging - my Pop-Pop went to join my grandmother heaven-side this week, Sean's health hasn't been the best lately and I am just waiting for life to let me breath.

All things considered, I woke up completely peaceful this morning, knowing that God is in control of every aspect of life, that nothing catches Him off-guard, and that all the goodness I have had in life is more than I deserve. I flipped on a favorite Pandora station and started the morning with coffee and a power smoothie: 1 banana, 10 almonds, 1 cup Greek yogurt, 1/2 cup kefir, few tbsp raspberries, 1/2 cup oatmeal.

Turtleneck - Target $2

Wool poncho- vintage pre-1940 (Great Britain occupied Hong Kong tag), thrifted $3

Jeans and boots, thrifted, about $6 total

Hair in some sort of crazy victory roll/Heidi braids combination

Beautiful outfit! So sorry for the loss of your grandfather.

I appreciate the extra smoothie gredient ideas. Around here we usually have berries (frozen from summer picking), frozen bananas, yogurt, and a splash of milk or orange juice in our yogurt. It never occurred to me to throw in almonds or oatmeal.

I'm so sorry to hear about your Pop-Pop, but also glad you have the comforting knowledge he is with Jesus.

I'm loving the What I Wore posts!
The smoothie sounds really good, and I'm curious as to what your favorite Pandora station is. I get a little overwhelmed trying to find good music on there!
