Leftover scrapbooking paper and watercolors folded into neat little advent envelopes for the kiddos to open each day, with a surprise inside for that day. The older kiddos painted our weathered clothespins. So far we've had pizza for lunch, had a popcorn and movie night, made gingerbread men together, sewed winter cloth napkins, and made some winter crafts. We're enjoying this simple countdown to a grand celebration of Christ our Saviour's lowly and humble arrival on earth.

Us, too! We sent a set of advent envelopes to our grandparents and auntie so we could all do the same activities together even though we live far apart. It's so much fun. Happy Christmasing!
