Always a tea drinker and never a coffee appreciator until a few years ago, now I savor my morning cup of dark, nutty richness. This is how we make it here in our home, in a French press. Isn't this aqua one amazing. It's color makes me smile each morning. Our favorite coffee is from Jim's Organic , called Sweet Love, and my favorite decaf is Sam's Club organic, which uses the Swiss process instead of chemicals to decaf the sweet little beaners.

How 'bout you? Do you take a cup o' Joe or lift your pinky and sip tea. Or - like me - do you savor the best of both worlds?

Lovely pictures. I like Wener melange. But at this moment I drink thee. In Germany (half hour drive away), I bought delicious tea with special herbs. The tea turns all red and it smells delicious.

I am actually a bit weird, and don't like either. I can drink tea if I have no other choices (and don't mind a chai occasionally) but don't drink coffee at all. I do, however, love a good hot chocolate.
Mostly, I just drink water.

I savor them both!!! Dark cup of mud in the mornings for sure. And afternoon tea on some days.....favorite a London Fog-Earl Grey tea, vanilla syrup(or I use just raw sugar sometimes)and steam milk. YUM! It's a Starbucks drink, but I prefer to make it at home.

Not much "liftin' of the pinky" here but I am a tea drinker all the way! Although my hubby drinks his dark Columbian roast with sweetened condensed milk, and I could drink that if I had too.....

Have a lovely weekend!

I use my Grandma's Pyrex percolator each morning to brew some mighty good, mighty strong coffee. The rest of the day is spent with tea. Lots of tea. There is always a thermos of earl grey at the ready and I love to brew a pot of vanilla, or ginger peach in the afternoons at naptime.

My boys love herbal teas as well. They drink them out of their lightning mc queen cups, or moss ross china demitasse cups and saucers. We're...eclectic.

I love the flavor of coffee, but I think I prefer tea, because there is so much variety, I have a favorite tea for every mood :)

We also use a french press but ours has a red lid. Our favorite is Caribou Coffee organic blend as we like milder flavors. I make mine with ice and 2 tablespoons of sweetened condensed milk.

Love that french press - what a nice way to make an ordinary tool special. I love coffee, but more than a cup every few days or so and I start to get migraines, so tea is it most of the time. Coffee is a special treat.

I love both coffee and tea. I love the flavor and smell of coffee and the comfort of tea. :)

I love the color of that French Press.

I just introduced myself to a french press earlier this summer and I LOVE it! Not as cute as your aqua one but it makes a fabulous cup of decaf organic coffee! Yum!

I wish.. I miss my coffee.. but about a year ago I discovered when ever I drank coffee. The next day I was bent over in pain. I like tea.. But I miss my warm coffee in the morning...

Oooh, I love both! Depends on the day and my mood which one I have. :)

What kind of press is that? I do love the colour!

Jedija, I love Germany! How nice to be so close! I fondly remember all the good teas there...

Katie, water is awesome for you and I should drink more of it - so kudos! I also love a rich hot chocolate!

Tasha, I will have to try your recipr - it sounds so comforting and good!

Mrs. Rabe, I'm more of a hands round the mug tea drinker than a pinky lifter too. :)

Kimberly, we have a few of those perculators, but we use them to keep our farm milk in since I'm not keen on plastics. Our kids love coffee or tea and the most memorable reading time, which was many years ago, was when we read the story of Mr. Tumnus in The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe - in which, of course, he is serving Lucy tea, and sipped our tea by candle light as I read aloud. Happy tea memory!

Jennifer - so true - there certainly is a tea for every mood!

Farrah - I also like Caibou and mine sweet like you do.

Sarah, if I drink too much coffee I notice I MUST have it every day, which I don't like, being slave to anything, so I sip a little, and waste a lot, no doubt. :)

Cari, even when I was a little girl and did not like coffee, I loved it when my dad opened a new bag. Nothing like the smell!

Maya, glad you;re enjoying the French press love!

Yuck, Sue - yuck about the tummy pain but I'm so glad you can still enjoy a cup of tea!

Blondee, I believe it is made by Bodum. Target sells them but if you have a Tuesday Morning shop nearby - this is where I have found them the cheapest. I say this because they are glass and inevitably, eventually (in our house at least) one gets elbowed off the counter every so often. I was the most recent culprit!

I like both. Lady Grey tea by Twinings is my favorite tea -- it comes in regular and decaf. I have a Keurig and many flavors of coffee pods to choose from thanks to my non-coffee drinking husband. :) My son, age 22, much prefers a french press as you do. Not sure what brand of coffee he uses as he is a college student far away from home.
