The Farmer's Museum Cooperstown, NY

100_2423
The Farmer's Museum and Fenimore Art Museum in Cooperstown, NY recently held a discovery day just for home educating families like ours. Families from all over central NY attended and we had a great time, as we always do when we visit the two museums. You can see some of our previous visits here, here and here.

Looks absolutely gorgeous. These 'old' farms always seem so quaint, but I guess their lives were tough in many ways. Tough....but happy too, for many of them.
What beautiful weather you have for your visit :)

Love the photos! Did you sew your eldest daughter's dress? It's so simple and beautiful! We have a 2-year-old daughter, and I cannot believe what I see in stores for clothing as I look ahead to when she is older. I appreciate the modest and feminine clothing ideas you provide on your blog. Thank you!

Homeschool on the Croft, we did have beautiful weather all morning, breezy and few clouds. Just as we finished at the Farmer's museum and crossed the road to the art museum, the sky let loose, which was perfect timing, as we walked through admiring the art with rain pitter-pattering on the roof.

Thanks, Anonymous!

Jedidja, it is such a pretty museum, set up like an 1840's town and farm.

Anonymous, I didn't make the pink dress. We found it at Kohls, amazingly, as most of their offerings are skimpy and sleezy. Around Easter they have some nice dresses on sale. The navy dress she is wearing in one of the photos was a dress-up dress at the museum.

Blessings,
Hannah
