Having older children, I often rely on their help in the kitchen and forget just how much fun working with a younger child is. Eleanora amazed me with her crazy pasta making skills. I showed her how to work the dough from a thick setting to a thin one and keep her fingers away when she fed it through the roller. We had so much fun!

Eleanora looks like a great little helper. Do you like the pasta maker attachment for your KitchenAid mixer? Their ice cream maker attachment is fantastic. I've thought about getting the pasta tool, but don't know anybody who owns one/has used one.
Hannah,
How do you like the attachment to your kitchen aid??? I have thought about getting some of the attachments instead of other seperate applicances to save space. Do you just have the pasta roller or do you have other attachements?

Unbelievable! I thought dough making was so difficult! You inspire me
Wow...new to your blog. We are a totally different family but your blog is refreshing and uplifting to me.

Sarah and Sue, We really like the pasta attachment for the mixer. It came with the roller and the slicer, so after the pasta is rolled to the desired thickness, you put it through and it cuts it into strips. Dawn, the dough couldn't be easier to make: flour, eggs and oil. :)
The only other attachment that we have is the meat grinder one and that one is great too. I've seen the icecream one but until our icecream maker dies, we'll keep using that. It is also by KitchenAid and works very well.
Shell in Your Pocket, thank you for the note and I really enjoyed browsing your blog last evening.
Blessings,
Hannah
Looks so yummy! I've always wanted to make fresh pasta!
I love homemade pasta and have wanted to try it for years! Yum, yum! Food as it should be!
