...with the angelic looking, comatose newborns plopped and draped and squished so contentedly? I had visions of taking those kinds of photos of Addie. I tried a few times without much luck and here's why: this girl is ALERT. Wide-eyed, don't-you-dare-put-me-down or put me in a basket cause I'm on to you sort of alert. Yup, that's our girl.

AWE! That's exactly how my oldest was from birth! She is so beautiful Hannah!!
Wow! I can't get over how wide-eyed she is already! She's so beautiful!
She's a cutie!
ohhhh, she is beautiful!
My last one was like that. Very alert! I kept telling everyone I was looking forward to enjoying my baby for a looooong time, but she would have none of it. She came out running after the older kids.LOL Still is a very bright, quick one.
Wowee! She sure is alert! Look at those bright eyes...God's greatest miracle.
Oh Hannah, she's so adorable. I get the feeling she'll be able to hold her own amongst your brood.
Too precious :o)
What an adorable baby girl! Maybe she's afraid she'll miss something?! The last two (of our 10 children) were born at home and we could tell a major difference from the beginning! They were both more alert and responsive. I wonder...
She is precious!!
