Morning Light

"Oh, God, Thou art my God, early will I seek thee..."

“O God, my heart is fixed; I will sing and give praise, even with my glory. . . . I myself will awake early.”

God’s question to Job: “Hast thou commanded the morning since thy days; and caused the day-spring [dawn] to know his place?”

“I love them that love me: and those that seek me early shall find me.”

Just a few beautiful verses that came to mind as this radiant light greeted me one morning!

Good morning!

I just found your blog in my search for maternity skirt tutorials. I think I just spent a little more time than I needed to exploring :-)...but it was so beautiful and refreshing. So, I thought I would drop you a comment and let you know. I come from a family of 6 kids and loved it and am so thankful for my family. We lived in MA and I moved to Missouri 2 years ago when I got married. My family is actually moving to OK for a job transfer, which is quite up quaint New England :-(, but we trust in God's bigger plan! I think that is one reason I loved all your pictures. I love old houses, and your's is so homey and pretty. Nothing quite like that here in MO. There is a different beauty though. Plus, all your little ones are adorable!

My little one is up and I really should go start working on some projects myself :-). I just wanted to say I was inspired by the loveliness here. I found myself saying "Amen" many times...especially to your post on reading the Word and the importance of it. If you're ever in Missouri, please stop by! Congratulations on your little one that should arrive any day. I am due in March with our second...thus the search for maternity skirt tutorials. You can't find nice maternity skirts in thrift stores, so I am excited to try making some :-)!

The Lord bless you and your family...

Oh thank you for sharing! And what a beautiful, inspirational kitchen. It's always so much nicer to enjoy where we spend so much time...for it to be pleasing in every way. Lovely. And such fitting Scriptures.

Can't wait to hear about the new little one!!

By-the-way, there's a little somethin'-somethin' at my blog for you. :-)

Blessings from Ohio...Kim<><
