On a recent trip to Cooperstown, NY, we enjoyed this exhibit at the Fenimore Art Museum. Alright, the men of the family were much more impressed with the Native American exhibits across the hall, but my daughters and I had a great time examining each item of clothing from New York women.

I love the dresses.. but no thanks on the corset... there are things that I love about the past.. but I really like alot of what we have today..

I love the Edwardian dresses the best and I am sooo thankful not to have to squeeze into a corset too! All those little stitches amaze me though!
