Riding on hand carved carousel animals was only one fun part of our sunny fall day. The kids and the Papa rode, I happily watched and enjoyed thanking God for the wonderful day and these incredible kids.
This is a beautiful post! Thank you for sharing your visit. Would you mind if we re-posted it on our facebook page and perhaps linked to it in a future blogpost? Thanks! Erin Richardson, Curator The Farmers Museum www.farmersmuseum.org thefarmersmuseum.blogspot.com facebook.com/farmersmuseum

Hi Erin, thank you and feel free to link wherever you like. We LOVE the Farmer's Museum. I wrote about our trip last yr, which has nicer pics. Here's the link to that one:http://www.cultivatinghome.com/2009/06/weekend-in-review.html
Thanks again for the wonderful visit last weekend! Hannah
Sue, the cider press is just a few miles away from the museum. We did it all in one day, two museums and a cider mill and had a great time! Have you tried checking localharvest.org to see if there is an apple farm nearby? They might have a press or tell you where you could see one in action.
