Purging

Clutter-wise, that is.
Having five kids in one bedroom gets a bit tight. Chase's clothing is kept in three baskets in the hallway outside their bedroom and was in dire need of straightening.

I'm SO glad you stated you have 5 precious ones in 1 bedroom-- we have 4 in the same situation-- they love it for now and I wonder how they'll do when someday they are separated. We are often told that each child needs his 'individual' space-- I just want to thank you for your encouraging posts- and your purging looks like it went well! :) I need to do the same-- are there ever enough little holes to stuff things? LOL! :)

Same here with our four boys in one bedroom and our daughter in the other. So many people think each child needs their own room, even extended family members! I see the joy the boys have all in the same room even as our oldest has now turned 13! I'm glad to here others think this is "normal," too. Janet

My husband has 5 brothers and 2 sisters. The boys always shared a room while they were growing up and they liked it for the most part. (there was a 7 year age difference between the girls so they weren't together)
