Soap Opera Illness...

Which I could write the whole long story to and bore and disgust you all but I love all of you, those I know anyway, too much.
Short version: I went to the dentist today and it turns out I have some bizarre form of gingivitis (comes suddenly and goes on its own and not the kind that makes your teeth fall out- whew!) caused by stress and "oh, by the way, that's a cavity, shall I fill it without novocaine"? Have I mentioned I despise going to the dentist and I won't mention how looong it has been since I went. I'm one of those people my husband envies with hard teeth who don't usually get cavities!
That's my fun day recuperating from the flu which then Sean came home from work with.
I finally stopped by the local health store and bought all the supplements and treatments for flu which everyone in the family is taking but me (pregnancy no-no's).
Stress, I knew, was what caused me to get sick in the first place. My body has this brilliant way of telling me to slow down and relax by forcing me to.
My dentist advised me to banish of all my stress! So at his advice, I am focusing just on these five wonderfuls for the next week. Trying not to think about the not fun stuff I have to get done and focus on the fun things. Make any sense? Sorry for the ramble tonight. Thank you all for your prayers!

I'm very sorry you've been sick -- and now this. I hope things are back to normal and you are all totally well soon!

I'm praying for you! And I'll try to do as you do and only focus on the fun stuff over Christmas and not all the not so fun stuff I have to do afterwards too...

Praying for a Christmas filled with the quiet and simple joy of that first night in the stable.
