Happenings

Miss Ella reading a favorite book in her new red boots. Her favorite page is the puppies page which she'll point out o anyone who happens by. In a busy home like ours that gets her quite a bit of attention.
A great kid Christmas kid craft to make and give away - chocolate covered pretzels with sprinkles. Melt a cup or so of semi sweet good chocolate until smooth and spoon over the pretzels laid out on waxed paper. Give the kids a few bowls of sprinkles and let them have at it!

Finally finished this little dolly for Catherine for Christmas. I used the tutorial here.
I couldn't find any flesh colored stockings or nice stretchy material so I ended up using a pair of women's trouser socks that are sooo soft from Target. I do remember seeing a listing of resources on Uncommon Grace's blog.

Just wanted to let you know that I have enjoyed reading your blog. I'm not sure how I even came across it, but I'm sure it was through some other blog.

The chocolate covered pretzels looks like a great activity for my little ones, since they love pretzels in general. Also the doll you made is so cute.

The doll turned out adorable. I'll bet you could sell them on Etsy if you took a notion.

Thanks, New Mom. I don't know why but for some reason the word verification doesn't show on my screen and I can't leave comments on yours and some other blogs lately. I'll have to ask DH...
I'm praying for you!

Such a cute dolly! My 2 year old saw it and said, "Oh, it's Charlotte!" She thinks it looks just like the "Charlotte" doll in our "Christmas In The Big Woods" book! (Laura Ingalls Wilder-my first little house books)

Perfect Ree! I couldn't think of a good name for her but it fits!
