A weekend in Cambridge

Great is thy faithfulness!Great is Thy faithfulness!
Morning by morning
New mercies I see
All I have needed
Thy hand has provided
Great is thy faithfulness

Oh, Lord unto me

Pardon for sin and a peace that endureth
Thine own dear presence to cheer and to guide;
Strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow,
Blessings all mine, with ten thousand beside!

Thank you for the lovely comments, ladies. We had a nice time but realized we aren't city people anymore. A busy crowded city was not so fun with four small ones. No, not stilettos, Katie, just high heels. There's a difference, right. I had to wear heels with those pants as they are long and we sort of just ended up on the beach. I had on Sean's fleece too so it's an interesting outift. It was chilly!
Thanks for stopping by Juju, you have a nice blog I noticed as I hurridly looked this morning. The kids are crowded around waiting for their lesson.
Have a great day everyone!

Hannah, what beach did you go to? We live very near Boston and are a city family; two of my boys ride with my husband on the bus and subway to school every morning. My husband loves having a good 45 minutes with them, riding and talking.
But when I see your pics of your lovely home, I wonder if I could be a country girl...
Lovely pics!

"A stiletto heel (or smaller kitten heel) is a long, thin heel found on some boots and shoes, usually for women."

Yeah it was more fun to look that up than do homework :) It has some other equally interesting definitions however lol. But as I can't see what you are wearing clearly, I'll let it go haha.

Love you!

Aaahhhh... I am certain that I am a New Englander... it is in my blood, my family is from the Boston area. Although I grew up in PA. But EVERY stinkin time I go to visit, my heart yearns to live there. I keep telling my husband and the Lord that I would really like our next move to be north! And these pictures just make my heart wish for more.

You are so blessed with a beautiful family!!!

Thanks for sharing.

Wow, Kate, maybe I do won a pair of stilettos. I suddenly feel unusually glamourous!

I'm not sure what beach we went to. It was on a teeny island 20 minutes out of Boston. My husband saw it on the map, the kids were bouncing crazy in the hotel room and he said, "How about we go here!" while pointing it out to me.
It made for a peaceful night. Our children don't do well cooped up. Me neither.
