A bit of morning sewing while four wee ones busily sat around the table creating and stenciling and beading procured this little number in soft floral corduroy for Annaliese, who needs some more everyday winter dresses. She took a minute from her drawing in the library to model for me. Andrew is outside now, chasing chickens out of the farmer's field. I worry about hawks grabbing the hens when they are out there without cover. It must be their happy place today because as I look out of the library window I see eight of them scratching around in the old bean field while Andrew has run inside in his red barn boots to recruit Annaliese's help.

The buttons on the dress are alternating small round green ones and small pink pigs.
The love of my life has just gotten home, so enough sewing blogging for now. I'll see if I can sneak out and thrift for a while! Have a great afternoon!
