A Sabbath Walk

Eleanora's BIG eyes

Aiden kept asking to go home and go to bed with his blankie.
Home was just down the field.

I am thankful that we have four seasons here,
even if winter does last half the year.
Aiden making a silly face and his big blue eyes.

Running with his sword Papa made him.....

A shield we made Andrew last Christmas and

an improvised dagger...

Neighboring hills.

Fall.

A view.

There it is!

Lovely Annaliese.

Hope your Sabbath was restful! Our walk came after an (at least) hour nap by all of us except Annaliese. The little bookworm finished reading Pollyanna while we snoozed.

My hairdresser moved, I don't have a new one yet and as Sean says, I do crazy thingss when I'm pregnant! I used a mirror to check the back, Christopher startled me when I wass cutting my bangs and they're a little shorter than I'd prefer. They'll grow, right?

Your pics are gorgeous! Just stopping by after seeing your comment on Soule Mama's blog. My hubby and I couldn't afford much when we got married 10 years ago and we are still wearing the $7 silver rings that we exchanged vows with. Mine only recently started to turn green after being in the chlorine in the pool this summer. Your blog as well as your children are beautiful.

Fall Blessings!

Thanks for the nice comments!
Sarah, thanks for stopping by. WEdding rings were the one thing we splurged on, which seems kind of silly now. I usually just wear a simple $40 gold band now and as I posted on SouleMama, my love is wearing a $6 silver one after losing his second wedding ring. The firsst time it was lost in the cold Atlantic on Cape Cod and the second this summer while butchering our roosters. Amazingly, it doesn't bother me that its lost. I guess I've mellowed as I've aged.
